Topic: Finding Your Next Big Bet in AI
Description: Jumping into AI by chasing the latest buzzword (agentic!) rarely leads to the most meaningful business results, and many AI initiatives fail. Successful AI initiatives start with business needs and strategic priorities. Using analytical frameworks such as value chains and leveraging use cases from other organizations, teams can generate a portfolio of potential AI opportunities. Each opportunity should then be evaluated based on business impact and ease of implementation. Mapping these opportunities onto that 2×2 prioritization framework makes it easier to identify where to place your bets.
In this Data Science Seminar Series, you will hear from Roger Moore, who is an Associate Clinical Professor in the MS in Applied Data Science program.
