Follow the Money Tools Demonstration and Q&A

WHAT: Inclusive Development International and the University of Chicago Data Science Institute will host a webinar to demo the new Shareholder Tracker and Development Bank Investment Tracker (DeBIT) tools.
The new Shareholder Tracker allows users to instantaneously search the shareholdings of 4,200 global investors, including any investor with more than $100 million in assets under management that does business in the United States. The DeBIT tool allows users to search investments made by 16 development finance institutions that have independent complaint mechanisms that are accessible to affected communities. Together, these tools provide users with up-to-date information on the investments of a vast universe of financial actors that would otherwise be prohibitively expensive or time-consuming to track down.
SPEAKERS:
– Dustin Roasa (Research Director at Inclusive Development International)
– Launa Greer (Software Engineer II at the UChicago Data Science Institute)
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
– How to search DeBIT for development projects by location, sector, or financial institution

– How to access IDI’s other Follow the Money resources
