Bio: James Hairston is OpenAI’s Global Head of Innovation Policy responsible for health, devices, and robotics. James previously led Meta’s virtual and augmented reality policy team for a decade and was Policy Advisor to the Head of the US Small Business Administration. James serves on the board of the International African American Museum in Charleston, South Carolina and is a proud native of Jersey City, New Jersey.
