Hane Lee
Postdoctoral Scholar, Data Science Institute
Hane (they/them) joined the Data Science Institute in August 2025. They are currently working with Professor Moon Duchin and the Data & Democracy Initiative. Hane’s research focuses on the intersection of statistics and political science and is motivated by substantive questions from American politics, including redistricting, public opinion, political polarization, and race, ethnicity, and politics. They previously received their PhD in Statistics from Columbia University.
