Jad supports graduate students and the day-to-day operations of the MS and PhD in Data Science. His work spans admissions and enrollment, student services, program logistics, and the data and reporting that keep programs running smoothly.

Before joining UChicago, Jad served as Graduate Programs Administrator at the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education at the University of Georgia, where he managed operations and student services across four graduate programs. His earlier experience in legal case management and financial reporting provides him with a broad operational foundation spanning higher education, law, and finance.

Jad holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Florida. He is trilingual in English, French, and Arabic. Most of all, he is committed to supporting the students and faculty who are shaping the emerging discipline of data science.

Outside of work, Jad can be found on a long walk with his wife or trying a new restaurant or coffee shop in Chicago. He is always happy to talk about his two cats or his favorite basketball teams.
