Madyson Miller (she/her)
Madyson Miller earned her M.S. in Marine and Environmental Science at the University of the Virgin Islands, focusing on invasive seagrass ecology and contributing to published research on stony coral tissue loss disease. After graduation, she was selected as a Knauss Fellow with NOAA’s Coral Reef Conservation Program. There she worked on national resilience policy and chaired the communications working group of the U.S. Coral Reef Task Force. She later worked for NOAA Research’s International Activities Office, focusing on international research collaboration in Europe and West Africa including UK Met, ECMWF, WASCAL, BMBF, IFREMER, and the EU. She also managed the UN Ocean Decade portfolio. In a volunteer capacity, she serves as Ambassador Program Manager for Women in Ocean Science and a Steering Committee Member of the U.S. Early Career Ocean Professionals Node.
