Min Jae Song joined DSI as a Postdoctoral Scholar in July 2025. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York University, advised by Joan Bruna and Oded Regev. His research focuses on the complexity-theoretic foundations of trustworthy AI. He is currently pursuing two directions: (1) using computational hardness to uncover fundamental limitations of learning, and (2) developing useful tools grounded in these insights, such as watermarking generative models. At DSI, he is exploring the interplay of cryptography, complexity theory, and law with Aloni Cohen.
