Sandra Laugie
Professor, Philosophy, University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne
Sandra Laugier is a professor of philosophy at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, with her primary areas of study being moral philosophy, political philosophy, philosophy of language, gender studies, and popular culture. She is also a Senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France, and currently serves as the deputy director of the Institut des Sciences Juridique et Philosophique de la Sorbonne.
In 2014, Sandra received the title of the Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur – the highest order of merit in France. She was later awarded the Grand Prix Moron by the Académie Française, before being elected to the American Philosophical Society in 2024.
