Tiana Pyer-Pereira (she/her)

As Senior Administrator, Tiana Pyer-Pereira supports Rebecca Willett with various strategic initiatives, her research group, and NITMB/SkAI. Before joining DSI, Tiana worked as Director of Programming and Initiatives at the Office of the Provost, where she developed programs related to diversity, inclusion, and faculty recruitment. Tiana has worked at UChicago since 2012, previously overseeing data collection and questionnaire design at the Survey Lab. Tiana received her MA in linguistic anthropology from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in English and linguistics with a concentration in creative writing from Swarthmore College. Tiana is a performing member of the Ho Etsu Taiko drumming ensemble and enjoys crossword puzzles, tea, and chocolate croissants.
