Briana Allen, MEd

Briana Allen serves as the Director of Academic Affairs and Operations for the MS in Applied Data Science program. Briana oversees the day-to-day responsibilities of the Instructional Services and Operations teams. Briana holds a Master of Technology in Education and has a background in instructional design, with an emphasis in online course design. As a Quality Matters Certified Peer Reviewer, Briana focuses on the intersection of quality of online course development and student experiences, including how online best practices can be leveraged by in-person courses. Briana is passionate about mentoring instructors in the creation of high-quality instructional resources, leveraging active learning strategies, and applying instructional technologies that create engaging student experiences across all modalities.
